Taking the test: You can not take the online assessment until we have seen your photographs. This way it will not cost you anything if we feel you need more practice. Take 3 or 4 photographs of your work. Make sure you show clearly the position of the rows with the bonds exposed and also one photograph must show the finished work with the hair down, brushed and trimmed. Photographs can be emailed or posted to us. (Exact details are given with the purchase of the course) If you are successful with your application after we have seen your photographic evidence you make a payment of £25 and login details will be sent to you. Once you get your login details you can access the secure area of our web site and answer a selection of multiple choice questions. The questions are to test your knowledge on the understanding of the training you have received within the course. If you have watched the DVD, read the manual and practiced on the training head supplied then you should have no problem taking the online assessment. When you have answered all the questions you will know immediately whether you have been successful. If you have you will then be asked to fill in a short form and submit it to us. Your results will be included in the submission so we can verify them and match them up to your photographs. If everything is ok we then send you your results. If you do not pass the online assessment you will be told immediately which questions you failed on. It is possible to take the test again but we advise you to revise on the areas you failed and then retake the online assessment. There is no further charge to retake the test. |
